The HM Series uses an inverted mono-tube damper, just like the RM     Series, but adds the independent compression and rebound adjustment of the     ER Series. On vehicles that use front struts only, BC Racing provides an     inverted front strut and then provides an upright BR Series damper for the     rear. Inverted dampers are useful in decreasing unsprung weight by moving     the greatest mass of the strut to the top where it connects to the sprung     weight of the chassis, where weight can be more easily shaved. The ZR Series offers     15-clicks of low-speed compression adjustment, 12-clicks of high-speed     compression adjustment, and 30-clicks of rebound adjustment. They also offer     full height adjustability independent of piston shaft travel and spring     compression. On cars with McPherson struts, the ZR Series comes standard     with an inverted mono-tube damper.
