Refund policy

All wheels are considered FINAL SALE once shipped. Customer is responsible for correct fitment and bolt pattern for their vehicle as well as finish. While we can help advise what fits best, we are not liable for any issues with caliper clearance or wheel/tire to fender clearance. Pre-Order Wheels or Special Finish/Fitment wheels are FINAL SALE. We will not refund or cancel wheels that were part of a Pre-Order or Special Finish/Fitment order. By purchasing them you are committed to owning the wheels once the order has been processed by us.

Items not in physical stock at any of our retail locations is considered a SPECIAL ORDER ITEM.  Special Order Items cannot be cancelled or returned once processed.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at weborders@speedfactorracing.com. If your return is accepted, you are responsible for the cost of shipping to you as well as the cost of return shipping to us. You will receive instructions via e-mail with information on how to return your item(s). Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and treated as abandoned by the owner.

Order Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Fees:

If an order is canceled before fulfillment for reasons not attributed to Speed Factor, a payment processing fee will be applied as follows:

  • Canada Orders: 4.5% processing and conversion fee.  An additional restocking fee of 15% applies on all orders already processed online.

Scenarios Where Cancellation Fees Apply:

  • Customer changes their mind
  • Customer indicates the order was placed by mistake
  • Customer requests cancellation within the provided lead time for an item not yet shipped
  • Customer declines store credit

Scenarios Where Cancellation Fees Do Not Apply:

  • Errors or miscommunications from Speed Factor
  • Lead time exceeds the estimated arrival by 14 days (based on the updated shipping date provided by Speed Factor) or if item is on extended backorder with manufacturer
  • Customer receives a defective item that cannot be replaced

Rationale:

Payment processing fees are incurred on every order received. Even when an order is refunded, Shopify Payments, our payment processor, does not reimburse these fees. Therefore, to cover these non-refundable costs, we apply a cancellation fee in the scenarios outlined above. 

Please understand that this policy aims to maintain fairness and cover unavoidable processing costs associated with order cancellations.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If there is visible damage to boxes upon receiving, please make not with the shipping company upon signing or receiving. By not doing so, you are accepting that the product arrived safely and intact with no damages from the freight/shipping company. All products are inspected before shipping out to customers.

We offer optional shipping insurance through Route.  It's not enforced, however if the service is declined upon checkout, you will receive a basic insurance coverage of $100 CAD regardless of item value.  WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND ADDING ROUTE AS A FORM OF INSURANCE ON YOUR PACKAGES


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
