Standard OEM rubber hoses are prone to "heat soak", which causes them to become brittle, crack, and eventually fail under the high-pressure demands of off-roading or heavy towing. The HPS kit replaces these weak points with multi-layer reinforced silicone, offering a significantly higher burst pressure and a much longer service life than factory components.

Remark: Silicone hose water permeation rate is 10 to 15 times greater than standard EPDM rubber hose. Checking water level regularly is highly recommended when silicone coolant hoses are used in a daily driving vehicle.
